The main purpose of these hats is to give you protection but except this, there are other aesthetic reasons and symbolic purposes due to which they are worn. There are different materials used to make each hat. In earlier times, hats were made of straw but now with the passage of time, leather or even cloth is mainly use to make hats. Not only leather you can find these hats with non-natural material such as plastic and synthetic leather.
With the materials, the shapes of the hats have also changed. Earlier there were simple skullcaps but now you can find hundreds of designs in straw hat worn by people. Ladies hats come in ample number of designs like hats with flowers, ribbons, feathers and much more which are very different from the hats which were used in earlier times. No matter what type of hat you use, each one of them needs to be handled with proper care and attention to prevent them from damage. You should clean them on regular basis and store them in a clean place if you wish to use them for a long time and protect yourself.
