| 1934-A $10 Hawaii Emergency Note |
During the early part of the WWII, the U.S. feared that Japan would overrun Hawaii and capture large sums of American currency. To prevent this from happening, the U.S. issued these notes overprinted with the word "Hawaii" on the front and back. Because of this distinction, the notes could easily be demonetized if they fell into enemy hands. Now you can own your own $10 Hawaii Note! |
