2007 marked the inaugural year of the First Spouse gold Coin Series, the United States Mint's first coin series to feature our Nation's First Ladies. Each year, four, one-half oz., $10 24kt Gold First Spouse coins will be minted in limited quantities and released to coincide with the four circulating Presidential $1 Coins. The first four in the series - Martha Washington, Abigail Adams, Thomas Jefferson's Liberty and Dolley Madison - are available in proof and uncirculated condition, in original NGC holders certifying them as perfect 70 coins. You'll also receive a custom-designed, domed chest, highly-polished, lacquered, hardwood presentation case and a Certificate of Authenticity signed by the Director of the United States Mint.
