Eagle National Mint Exclusive: THE VISIT Series Limited-edition Photographs by Len Steckler
In December of 1961, a special visit was made between icons Marilyn Monroe and Carl Sandburg, just months before her death. It happened in the New York apartment of renowned artist Len Steckler, who captured the intimate afternoon with his trusty Nikon. Most of the images shot that day have never been published, and the negatives have been kept in the artist’s personal archive for over forty years.
A total of six pieces are being made available: four single images (17 inches by 22 inches) and two triptychs (37 inches by 14 inches). Each are printed on 350 lb. Museo rag hand-made archival paper using the proprietary Artes™ process (which ensures optimal detail and contrast.) All prints have been signed and numbered by the artist prior to being mounted within a museum-quality frame and each is accompanied with a certificate of authenticity. ONLY 250 OF EACH WILL BE MADE AVAILABLE.
